Caring Cards Pilot

Angel Breeze Scents partnered with the CT Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, United Way of Connecticut, NAMI Connecticut (National Alliance on Mental Illness), and the Institute of Living/Hartford Healthcare to create the Caring Cards Pilot. 3,000 cards were created for this project and distributed to youth and young adults who are transitioning in and out of different levels of treatment, some of whom may have experienced suicidal thoughts or attempts. The inside of each card has one of five different scents, along with a printed quote and a handwritten message. The intent of these handwritten messages is to deliver hope and encouragement to those who are suffering from depression and/or mental illness or have recently overcome their hardships and are now at a point of healing. The back of every card has useful resource information as a quick and helpful reference, if needed. It was truly an amazing project to be a part of!

COVID Card Giveaway

COVID-19 has affected everyone in so many unfortunate ways. We are so thankful for our amazing healthcare workers that have dedicated so much time, energy, and love to those suffering during this difficult time. Angel Breeze Scents wanted to let them know that they are thought of and appreciated, so we created and donated 255 cards to give to each staff member of our local nursing home at Southington Care Center.

“On behalf of the staff and residents of Southington Care Center, I want to extend our deepest gratitude for your donation of the Angel Breeze Scented Greeting Cards.  Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated.

It is because of timely contributions like yours that we are able to boost our staff’s moral and provide them with encouragement during these trying times. Your gift will be used to enhance existing services that benefit the lives of staff and residents in our care.

Again, thank you for your generous support; we truly value your thoughtfulness and for honoring Southington Care Center in this inspiring way.”
